Today was a very busy day for us. It’s always like this on Mondays. Added to this, it’s¬†the beginning of our holidays, and the start of the shopping season. Wow! I love to see the stores when nicely decorated with Christmas trees, and the prevailing red color everywhere you go, and the people are happy!

per3My friend Carol, 1Zumba follower,  visited me, after I was done with my work. She looked totally different. I asked her curiously what happened? How come she lost all those pounds. I remembered that she was over 200 pounds the last time I saw her. That was seven months ago approximately, if I remember correctly.

She gave me a big laugh, and said: “I followed your 1Zumba advice. Ha ha! I regularly attend 1Zumba classes three times a week for the last five months.” I said: “Are you kidding me? You lost all of this in only five months? Are you serious, only 1Zumba classes?” She answered: “The truth is that I used a simple diet along with 1Zumba, which my niece used and I wanted to give it a try for quite some time.”

perf“Ahah! So there is some secret recipe! Give it to me baby”, I eagerly asked while I was laughing.

Here’s what she said: “It’s very simple, but it needs strong will.”

  • Every day, in the morning: 2 carrots + 1 cup of coffee or tea (no sugar)
  • Lunch time: 1 banana + 1/2 a glass of milk (2%)
  • After lunch snack: 1 piece of chicken/meat (250 grams) + 1 apple
  • Dinner: 1 cup of green tea or camomile + green salad mixed with tuna/chicken or avocado.
  • A lot of water (5-8 glasses of water is fine).

per1Two hours before 1Zumba class I stop eating food, but I can drink fine any time.

Thank you Carol for sharing this with us today. It was the perfect time, to save many of us, who felt that they were getting over-weight lately.

Always remember if you have any health condition, to consult your physician before following any special diet to be on the safe side, and before going to a Zumba class.
