The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) just came out with some safety warnings and guidelines about cell phone use (and not giant anteater use). The guidelines described the science of cell phone and RF risk as “still evolving,” which is not exactly an endorsement of its safety. (You never want to tell your significant other that your opinion of him or her is “still evolving.”) As the guidelines state, some laboratory experiments and human health studies have raised the possibility that “long-term, high use of cell phones may be linked to certain types of cancer and other health effects” including:
- Brain, acoustic nerve, and salivary glands tumors
- Lower or less active sperm
- Behavior, learning, or memory problems
- Sleep disturbances
We understand that cell-phones are important for you, but your health or being healthy is more important. Therefore, you need to take a stand, either to risk your life, or to avoid all these kinds of health hazard issues.
The solution is simple. Avoid using your cell-phone 24/7. Just assign a certain time of the day to check on your cell-phone. Other than that, you can answer your calls shortly. You don’t need to tell your life story every time you answer a call. 15 minutes over the phone is a long time and it can defect your brain through its harmful waves.
It is totally up to you. Nobody else would care for your own health, if you yourself didn’t care for it.
