“It’s nice to be famous”, my nephew said while watching that movie! Do you watch a lot of movies the way many people do nowadays when they try to get to sleep?
Anyway, the movie although addressing a simple yet huge issue of cheating or not cheating, ended up with a message saying that entertainment business did not have to be ethical 100%. It’s similar to any other fake entertainment: a game which is not a game; a competition which is not a competition; a quiz which is not a quiz.
In the meantime, it showed you how a family reputation could be easily destroyed by one mistake, and that to redeem yourself and free yourself of that huge guilt burden, when you are a good person, you’ve got to admit it. The idea that rich people are bad in heart and behavior was dealt with skillfully.
The movie was called “Quiz Show”, and played by Ralph Fiennes when he was so young, Rob Morrow, and others.
A good movie to watch with your family. Enjoy!
