Federal lands are lands in the United States owned by the federal government. Pursuant to the Property Clause of the United States Constitution (Article 4, section 3, clause 2), the Congress has the power to retain, buy, sell, and regulate federal lands,
Is this why the people are homeless and can’t get a decent house to call it home?
Mostly, mismanagement, they need a smaller area to manage.
Then why don’t they give the people the land and let them build their own homes? Calculate the available areas and divide it among the poor people who can build their own homes.
Think about it, it would be wonderful solution.
Can the Federal government seize a private land?
The government can and does, seize private property, but only in rare cases and through a legal process called eminent domain, which is when land or other property is seized “for the greater good.” However, the government is required to pay fair market value for whatever they seize.
Should this law be changed? Should it be reformed? What do you think?
