On top of all news headlines during the 2021 year, Covid19 has occupied the largest space of all. Either it is related to its variants or to its vaccination, you find it always present and prevailing in most of your daily news.
True, and it will continue being present so long as it does not stop killing people. But there are other ailments that cause people to die too. Yes, but recently there has been many businesses that are directly related to Covid, and they want to survive.
Maybe in one or two years its popularity will go down when it is not news anymore similar to diabetes, flue, or other killer diseases. Until then you will have to keep up with everything related.
