Did we share this movie with you before? It’s a family movie and you can watch it with your family, having some popcorn at home for a weekend.
Up in the Air is a 2009 American drama film directed by Jason Reitman and written by Reitman and Sheldon Turner, based on the 2001 novel of the same name, written by Walter Kirn. The story is centered on corporate “downsizer” Ryan Bingham(George Clooney) and his travels.
The National Board of Review and the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association named Up in the Air the Best Picture of 2009. I’m not sure if it is considered one of the top movies though. It seems to be telling a simple story about people’s suffering when they get fired from their well-paying jobs.
The new in this movie can be summarized in:
. The unexpected end.
. The lifestyle of executives in certain corporations.
. The living in the air most of your life.
It’s a family movie. No profanity. No nudity. No extra violence.
