Banking Career! (28)

When the money is there, less worries you get! 🙂

Money is dangerous friend though. You need to be aware of what’s going on with your investments.

BankingOne of the things that you need to pay attention to while you are a teller or a banker is your drawer balancing. After all it is your responsibility to have your drawer balanced all the time.

Here’s a few important points related to balancing:

  • You should have your balancing worksheet in your cash drawer.
The left side is completed at the end of each day worked.
  • If you are in balance, or the outage is $10.00 or less, put a check mark in the “Balanced” column.
  • Write the dollar amount of any outage in the “Short” column.
  • All outages must be reviewed and approved by management.
  • You can write any comments or explanations in the assigned area in details.
  • On the last day of each month, you should pass over your sheet to your supervisor.
