Well, well, well! What do you really want me to say for such a wonderful group of readers and visitors, who sent me the prettiest words, and the loveliest comments ever? It wouldn’t be enough to say thank you, but I do thank you very much for every nice moment you give me, and I appreciate reading my words 😉
For our new visitors, thank you particularly from the US, Myanmar, the UK, the Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, Canada, Germany, Norway, Spain, n Vietnam 😉
Today we have Italy with us, or Salvo Real Ball! He is one of our members. We’re very proud of having him with us in our group, as we are for each and every one of you as well.
It’s a great pleasure to interview you Salvo, and to share with all of you your life experiences, and your energy, which is shown clearly through your great responses:
1.How would you introduce yourself to our readers? ….
Hi I’m Salvo. I’m Italian and I live near Milan. My passions are fitness and music and my job are both 2 years ago I created my own program Real Ball Fitness, It’s a fitness dance workout performed bouncing on the ball, original, innovative but first of all It’s fun! I travel a lot because I hold Instructors Training in all over Italy, but I held some training in Ireland and Spain too.
2.How long have you been in the fitness field?
I’ve been teaching fitness and dance for 14 years. My first love was Latin Music (salsa, bachata, merengue), then I approached to the fitness world and I studied a lot of disciplines. At the moment I teach: Zumba, step, tone, pilates, pump and of course Real Bal Fitness!
3.What kind of interests you have?
In the free time I like to massage, since last year I attended some massages trainings. My other passions are languages. I study English and Spanish. Although my English is not perfect I can read, write and talk. I like English because speaking in English you can communicate with everybody in the world, but my favorite language is Spanish. That’s why in July I will move to Barcelona in Spain.
4.What is your ultimate dream?
At the moment my dream is to develop my own program Real Ball Fitness in other countries. My best dream would be bring my program to USA especially to a big event in California.
5.What kind of difficulties you encounter in life in general?
I had a gym for 4 years. I handled it all alone and I was very stressed, I couldn’t sleep in the night, because of the amount of work and responsibilities I had. My life became very complicated and tiring so I closed the gym in November 2015. It was a very hard decision, because I had a lot of students crazy for me. Now with Real Ball Fitness is different, I travel a lot, I meet many people and I love my job now
6.What is your favorite color?.
My favorite color is red that is also the color of Real Ball Fitness logo. In general I prefer warm colors: orange, yellow because I feel they give me more energy.
7. Did you find any solutions for these difficulties?
As I said I closed my own gym center to dedicate to my program Real Ball Fitness
8.Is there any funny or embarrassing situations that happened to you when you first started …….?
I started 14 years ago and used to teach aerobic. In aerobic classes the instructor uses the “Count Down”. And every time I raised my arm for the count down 4-3-2-1… someone used to raise the arm too with the number 4 like It was a movement of the choreography 😆
9. Do you feel that there is a certain message that you want to deliver for our readers?
For what I learned until now in my life. You have to do what your heart tells you and what makes you happy. no matter how difficult a decision is, if a choice you will make a happy one day, it’s always worth it.
10.What local events you like to participate in?
Here in Europe the biggest Fitness Event is here in Italy, It’s Rimini Wellness. In June there will be another edition and I will be there for the third time with my program Real Ball Fitness. In USA I really would like to participate with my program at the Idea World Convention that is in LA in July.
11.Can you tell our readers something they do not know about you[your sport/……]?
I love my mother food… and I’m eating too much
12.Where do you see yourself in five years from now?
Living in another city, and developing more and more my business
13.How do you deal with having the music playing into your head, being exposed to it for long hours?
For many years I taught 25 hours of fitness classes per week and It was too much for my body and my ears. But now I dedicate most of my time to handle my business Real Ball Fitness and I teach just 8 hours per week, that is sure more healthy. Fitness is healthy, but too much is not. In Italy we say “il troppo storpia” the translation is more or less “excess is bad”
14.How far you can go with …….exercises?
Everywhere
15.What is your favorite aspect of ……?
Of life? Earn something with a lot of work is a real satisfaction
16.What do you wish to see in the future?
I wanna a more civil world
17.If a future physical program emerged, what do you wish to see happening ……?
I think a physical program must help people not only to improve their healthy but their happiness too. That’s What I want to see: happy people 🙂
Now you see why I choose our post title as 1Zumba Happy Italy , right?

Great interview. As a second generation Italian myself, with a love of food, music, wine and dance (and zumba of course) there was much here I could relate to. 🙂
