Welcome back our dear readers and friends! Thank you to our number one audience the US, Canada, India, & Mexico 😉
Melissa, thank you for your comments:
“Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this site before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me.
Anyhow, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently!”
It’s a great pleasure to be with you one more time. Today we have a variety of news and events. Let’s start with what you do, my 1Zumba friend, when it’s not your day.
On days when things don’t go our way, we can feel like we’re in a bad movie- like life has its own agenda for us which is to cause things that don’t normally dysfunction, to do so with full force.
It’s days like those that we might believe we have no access to choice or even free will. Like all of our moves just play out in some big story that we have no dominion over. So what do you do on days like this? When you think there is no hope for turning it around?
It is not the end of the world, as you think it is. It is something that could happen to anyone, a president or a janitor.
There is some way out of it. How?
First, just accept it, do not fight it, do not challenge it, surrender and embrace. Then look at your long postponed list of do’s.
- Go do your laundry.
- Organize your files.
- Fix that button, which is sitting there for over a month.
Clean the stain in your coat’s sleeve.
- Throw away these pyramids of unused paper/pamphlets.
- Get rid of your unwanted mail.
Smile, the kind of smile that assures you that everything is going to be OK. The kind of a smile, a mother gives to her baby. Make yourself feels that it is your baby!
All of these actions, no matter how simple they are, but they would give you a tremendous relief, coz it’s still a kind of achievement, that would give you a bit of self-satisfaction.
Then, look at the sky, or the tree, and try to catch a bird with your eyes. Focus on that tiny bird, and how wonderful it is. Listen to the nature, to the birds’ chirping, to the streaming water.
Think deeply how that bird was created, and how it embraces anything that happened to it. You’re similar to that bird.
There was some goodness in not to get that job you wanted. There was some good in having a fight with your daughter, but you do not know that.
Amanda asked me: “Do you really think this could be true?” I honestly answered: “Yes, I do. When it’s not my day, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do.” as in Abba’s song, haha!
Amanda wants a break, so let’s have a fast one, and stay around with our hugs and kisses ❤
