An old movie called “The Mirror Has Two Faces” 🙄 reminded you of people with many faces although it is irrelevant to its story.
When a teacher comes to you asking you to forgive her friend- another teacher- for what she did and said, claiming that she found the latter crying coz her feelings were hurt.
You couldn’t make any sense out of that. Her claimed friend started a war to tarnish your good reputation and you ignored all what she did including all kinds of 
harassments. You were trying to act maturely and thought that she might be under some kind of stress and that she would turn around and be a good girl again.
Unfortunately, she did not. She kept digging nonsense finding nothing bad to put on you until she blamed you for not answering her emails. But what to answer? It was all nonsense. And there it was: you really had it and finding excuses for her was not fair for yourself. That was how you replied sharply but politely.
The following day, she sent her friend to ask you to apologize for your reply asking for “Peace“. You thought what was wrong with people? How many faces they have? At that moment, you remembered that movie. You still felt pity for her, but she brought it on herself and unless she apologized, you would just forget that she existed.
