Fame?

Be better than those who lie to their own souls! 😉 Welcome back friends from the US, Canada, Brazil, and Romania 😉

It’s so interesting to have these thin threads coming up to your mind from time to time, for no obvious reasons. Notions that you want to investigate, explore, or talk about, but you feel like you need to dig deeper to reach to some profound materials before daring to talk about it.

One of these topics is seeking fame. Many writers wrote about this kind of thoughts stating that your dream was either to be famous or to be filthy rich. Psychologists, on the other hand, said that: “It’s your era’s latest illness.”

There is too many arguments and discussion about the real motives behind seeking fame, but in many of the mass-murdering cases, the only reason was for the sake of being famous and written in the Newspapers or the media channels. Do not be surprised coz the number of these cases are tremendous.

It’s difficult to perform a psychological autopsy on Stephen Paddock so soon after his horrific rampage, however, a desire for attention or fame appears “again and again” in the psychological make-up of mass murderers,….

In the meantime, when you become famous, there is no guarantee that your name would be mentioned every single second forever. It would be like a strike that goes up for a certain period of time, then it will go down. You would suffer a lot when that happened as many celebrities did.

“The sad part about [fame] is people that desperately need to become famous. It’s like a drug…and there’s so many people that come up and then they go, a...More

“Making history” is something that could be the most appealing for the powerful class on Earth. Are you kidding me? It’s humongous to have your name written in newspapers and repeatedly mentioned in TV channels. Sometimes, you don’t want to admit it, but it is a fact. You’re embarrassed to say “Yes, I want my name to be known by everyone”!

When you are under the spell of seeking fame, you want to make history and to have your name mentioned in history books. It doesn’t matter if you are a basketball player, a clown, or a president, you want to come up with something that achieve your dream, without thinking of the disadvantages. The worst one that can kill you is that your name is no longer be on the headlines, or would not be there at all. 😛

In a world that sees people as Somebodies and Nobodies, indignities abound. The primary source of man-made indignity is rankism. By analogy with racism and sexism, rankism is defined as what somebodies do to nobodies

In spite of all this, you may get lucky, be at a certain place at a certain time, and Voilà! You become famous, without any efforts on your part!

OK! Let’s then be optimistic and continue talking in another session, meantime get into our topics for further updates, with out hugs and kisses
