Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was a 9th-century Muslim mathematician and astronomer. He is known as the “father of algebra”, a word derived from the title of his book: “Kitab al-Jabr”.
The Arabic numerals are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. These are facts that are developed over the different eras, but as for the other forms of numbers such as the Indian ones, which are used in some Arab countries now are not the above shapes at all. They are quite different although the “1” can be the same in some writings.
