My 1Zumba friend, they call it the “secret to losing weight”!

Fiber, it is! It’s not a sexy solution, I know, but researchers found that adding 30 grams of fiber to your diet every day for six months could decrease a person’s weight by five pounds.
An additional benefit is, a fiber rich diet also reduced or eliminated metabolic syndrome, (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar) that increase your chance of heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
Healthy skin. When yeast and fungus are excreted from the body through skin, they can cause acne or rashes. Fiber flushes them out through the digestive tract instead.
High-fiber foods. To increase your fiber intake, add these foods to your daily diet:
- Oatmeal
- Chia seeds
- Brown rice
- Bran muffin
- Spinach
- Broccoli
- All-Bran cereal or cereal with high fiber
- Kidney beans
- Pears and apples with skin
- Prunes
- Barley (cooked)
- Berries
- Cauliflower
