Today it is our pleasure to meet with your very nice friend who has become one among the top of your other lovely 7000 SuperStars.
This time our talk was brief and focused on overcoming big issues in life. Here’s how it went.
It was understood from your previous interview that you’ve been through a long journey of life, and that you encountered a number of hard situations along the way. Also, you were able to defeat and feel quite victorious being able to overcome such tough issues.
However, sometimes it is uneasy to talk about some situations in our lives. Therefore, we wonder if this is something that you can talk about to our students?
Hello friends, Well I don’t know where to start.
I have an experience about moving to different city.
I remember we moved from Santa Clara CA to San Jose CA. We moved because I change jobs and it was convenience for me to move to San Jose.
My two oldest children were in High Schoo and Middle School. I keep taking them to School in Santa Clara b/c they didn’t want to start a new school in the middle of school year.
I think about the trauma my children went thru when I moved them to San Jose.
When adults make decision based on our convenience, and the fact they went to school since elementary school and the bond they had with their school mates.
I regret not sitting them down and explain the plan and the reasons why we have to move and not doing it so sudden.
That decision affected my children during the transition from Santa Clara to San Jose. Their grades start to decline, they started hanging with the wrong crowd and making wrong choices b/c they were not supervised, and I was too busy working to provide for my children.
I think about, parents sometimes we make decisions and want to provide the best for our children, however we don’t stop for a minute and ask them, do you want to live in a better and bigger house or are you happy here with your grandmother and sleep in the living room. As longest you continue going to the same school and graduate High School with your school mates from elementary school.
I asked them for forgiveness in the wrong decisions I made specially not asking their input on my decision b/c they are the most affected by my abrupt decisions.
I guess my message is even they are young, they must be included on ALL decisions an adult makes. Thank you.
Thank you Agueda for being open with your friends who are eager to know more.
Until we chat again, there is still plenty of chatting with Ms. Agueda, with our hugs and kisses ❤
