You were given a book as a gift, and what a gift! It was the very right book that you loved to have. Why? Because, over the years you had a dream of being an interior designer loving all kinds of special fabulous home magazines.

You look at a magazine and you turn its pages one after the other, completely taken by its colors in the pictures, its corners’ arrangement, the light, and its reflection on the furniture. You were always amazed by the subtleness of the pictures in your home magazines and how they were terribly versatile.

This was only part of it, not all of it though. You also thought if one day you would be able to put together the contents of a house and call it your home. For some reason, it didn’t happen yet. The book worked as a kind of reminder on how your thoughts worked in the past.

It asked you why didn’t you do what you wanted to do, and believe it, there was no clear answer. That is why the best part of your new book was its encouraging inspiring phrase of “Make Yourself at Home”. Quite shaking. 🙄

The book’s title was “The Interior Design Handbook” by Frida Ramstedt, and it is worth of reading especially for those who care to know more about interior design which is an area not too many talked about especially for regular homes.
