Hi and welcome everyone from everywhere: the US, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, Poland, Philippines, Kenya, India, China, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Canada, the UK! 😉
Life is very interesting!
It was really quite interesting to see that occurrence happening in real life and in real time.
Juliana, an old friend, asked me to pick her up from the Bart Station. Although I had some family and friends guests and we were preparing things for the night since it was Christmas night, but we were not necessarily for the occasion but for just being all together on one table.
As you know from before whatever you’re celebrating, we celebrate it too. Anyway, I excused myself from the group and told them that I was going to pick up a very funny friend who would make their night even brighter than it was.
While i was slowly approaching that area, it was about 10:15 pm, I noticed a very elegant lady holding a tech bag and dragging a travel baggage leaning towards an Uber vehicle apparently talking about something.
Her offer apparently was declined and she retreated back to the inside of the Bart but then she came back running. The Uber vehicle left. She was wearing very expensive jewelry and coat and boots. I knew that coz I wanted to buy that coat myself from Nordstrom and i couldn’t find my size in small.
She turned her head right and left and started saying NO NO NO. It can’t be. Where is it? OMG! This is not happening to me. No NO No NO. She ran back to where the attendant was sitting and she asked her something.
I had to get out of my car, and stepped forward to offer help. I asked what happened? She said my handbag. She screamed it had everything: my cards my keys my prescription my my my my I said where was it? Did you have it in your hands and someone took it or what?
She didn’t answer she ran inside the Bart taking the stairs having all her heavy things with her and I guess she made a tour around the path she came through but she was back to the attendant starting collapsing hysterically screaming out loud with anguish sobbing never seen something like it before.
The lady looked quite sophisticated but she couldn’t contain her feelings of stress. Of course it was a tough situation. No doubt about it but sometimes when you act calmly you reach to a better solution.
The attendant of the Bart who was really helpful asked her for the description of her handbag she gave her a name of a fancy brand with the dark red color and black stripes with an inside silk fabric in light yellow with red and blue fine prints.
I thought Oh! I’d like to see that handbag. It’s terrible. I have a lady crying and I’m thinking of seeing her lost bag, but that is what happened.
The attendant contacted the other stations asking about the handbag with the description given to her. Since that lady was coming from SF Airport returning from a trip to Vegas, stepping out of the train four stops before the end, the possibility of finding the bag was high if someone noticed it and handed it over to any attendant in station.
But regretfully all other attendants responses were negatively discouraging negating the receipt of any handbag to lost & found.
Of course, you could imagine that an expensive bag like that many would take it. who knows.
It was 10:40 pm and my friend didn’t want to go anywhere. She insisted on staying with that lady until solving her situation.
During the whole time, the lady in the Beige coat kept sayin: What am I going to do? It has everything! I can’t get into my place. I can’t get into my car. I cant have any card to pay. My glasses were there both the sunglasses and prescription one. My other phone was there. OMG! This is terrible. Why God? I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t do anything wrong for anyone.
My friend wanted to get her out of that mood, she felt that she was losing her mind. She told her not to worry and that there were worse things that could happen and that she had another cell in her hands that she could contact her relatives or friends. that there would be a way out of that.
Until we chat again, it was a good night after all, my friend and I learned a lot from that lady, I hope that you would too, but still there is more, with our hugs and kisses ❤
